1.1. Preparation of passport application materials: 1) 2 recent 2-inch front facing color photos without a hat, national public officials do not wear standard clothing, children do not wear red scarves, and the background color is subject to the regulations of the local immigration management office; 2) Residents who are over 16 years old should bring their own household registration book (submit the "Permanent Resident Registration Form" for collective household registration) and resident ID card (or temporary ID card); 3) Residents under the age of 16 should bring their own household registration book (submit the "Resident Registration Form" for collective household registration), the original resident ID card of their guardian, and the original documents that can prove their guardianship relationship (such as household registration book, birth certificate, etc.), and be accompanied by their guardian to handle the application; 4) Non military students studying in military academies must also submit a certificate of non military status issued by their respective academies; 5) Soldiers must carry their military officer certificate (or retirement certificate) and the original copy of the "Examination and Approval Document for Personnel Leaving the Country (Territory) for Private Matters" issued by their unit. Any national staff member who applies for a private passport and belongs to the registration and filing system must have their unit issue an opinion on the "Approval Form for Chinese Citizens' Private Overseas Application", with the person in charge signing and affixing the official seal. Payment: After submitting the application, the applicant must immediately bring the "Application Receipt for Private Exit (Entry) Documents" to the charging office to pay the fee (the applicant must pay on the day of acceptance. If the payment is not made within the time limit, the date of receiving the document will be notified separately.
